Castlight Health illustrations Exploration
The Challenge
When I started working at Castlight, illustrations used for the brand consisted of many different styles complied of
stock illustrations and oddly shaped characters. to achieve a cohesive brand look, I took on style exploration.

Design Process

to help achieve a defined look, I explored styles close relating to ones used throughout previously designed elements,
as not to force a drastic change in the company.
The Solution​
​
The final look agreed on is a diverse approach, introducing new skin colors, realistic body types, and dynamic poses.
I created a broad database of illustrations to cover the company’s needs, and constantly expand it to cover ongoing requirements such as COVID-19 solutions.
Guidelines
​
new illustrations values and instructions were added to the brand guidelines, and review sessions of new illustrations were introduced, to allow other teams within the company the option to add illustrations to the database as needed.
